Laser Skin Care

Laser skin rejuvenation offers everything you hope for from a facial - but more of it. Laser skin rejuvenation uses sophisticated Q-Switched Nd:YAG lasers to directly repair the damage that occurs due to exposure to sun, age, stress, diet, smoking, etc. The intensity of the laser is adjusted to suit your skin type, concern areas and treatment plan. It is then applied by experts under medical guidance, to treat affected regions, to treat affected regions, instantly resulting in even-toned, healthier and younger-looking skin.
Treatment
While results are visible from the first session onwards, most patients opt for multiple sessions planned 3 weeks apart. Often Dr. Sejal keeps adjusting the treatment plan and may include other skin rejuvenation techniques which bring about the best result.
What results can be expected?
Based on the condition being treated, general tanning, patchy skin etc. visible results can be expected right after the first session and will vary from lightening of localized pigmentation or in the form of an evenness in skin tone. Most patients do report a ‘glow’ after the treatment.
Some patients do approach us for laser skin whitening or laser skin lightening. However it is better to understand that any laser cannot fundamentally change the colour of your skin. Laser skin treatment can best be defined as a pigmentation treatment. ND Yag lasers repair the damage done to your skin by working on blemishes and reducing patches, marks and spots to give an even toned glowing skin.
Laser for Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair.
During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
Although laser hair removal effectively delays hair growth for long periods, it usually doesn't result in permanent hair removal. Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well. Laser hair removal is most effective for people who have light skin and dark hair, but it can be successfully used on all skin types.
Pigmentation on Face

Hyperpigmentation is a medical term used to describe darker patches of skin from excess melanin production. This can be caused by everything from acne scars and sun damage to hormone fluctuations.
Tightening

Laser resurfacing This is the most effective procedure for tightening loose skin. Unlike the laser treatment described above, this procedure requires some downtime. You'll need to stay home for 5 to 7 days. Laser resurfacing also gives you the fastest results.
Wrinkles

Wrinkles, a natural part of aging, are most prominent on sun-exposed skin, such as the face, neck, hands and forearms.
Although genetics mainly determine skin structure and texture, sun exposure is a major cause of wrinkles, especially for people with light skin. Pollutants and smoking also contribute to wrinkling.
If your wrinkles bother you, you have more options than ever to help smooth them or make them less visible. Medications, skin-resurfacing techniques, fillers and surgery top the list of effective wrinkle treatments.
Acne Scars

Acne scars on the face, chest and back are very common. Some 80% of people between ages 11 and 30 will get acne, and one out of five of those people will develop scars. Reducing the scars requires treatment either over-the-counter medications or one or more procedures performed by a dermatologist.
Excimer for Vitiligo and Psoriasis
The 308 nm laser excimer represents a viable treatment option of inflammatory skin diseases such as vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata and psoriasis. It has been used in patients with psoriatic lesions that affect 10% of the body area, recalcitrant plaques, or difficult to treat areas.
